The G&P Tuset restaurant has landed in Barcelona.<\/strong> to take us back to the atmosphere of the Roman Dolce Vita<\/strong>. With a\u00a0gastronomic offer from central and southern Italy<\/strong> and a\u00a0selection of cocktails,<\/strong> is an Italian restaurant by day and a cocktail bar by night.<\/p>\n

Located in the heart of the Tuset Street<\/strong> in the district of Sarri\u00e0-Sant Gervasi<\/strong>The restaurant aims to be a point of reference in the area for its cuisine, its cocktails and its interior design.The owner of the premises wanted to to recreate an atmosphere reminiscent of Barcelona's \"Gauche Divine\".<\/strong> of the 1960s<\/strong>. With this movement a new culture appeared, made up of writers, designers, singers, models and filmmakers, lovers of modern and avant-garde art who frequented Tuset Street, which was not a street at the time but a\"street\".<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2021, 118 Studio was chosen to carry out the renovation work.<\/strong> and integral design of the premises. The challenge was to create an interior design project adapted to the philosophy and values of the property, mixing the casual spirit of the \"Dolce Vita\" and the identity and modernity of what was \"Tuset Street\".<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>A different project<\/p>\n

The 118 Studio team achieved a perfect integration of interior design and decoration. With the a blend of historical aesthetics and contemporary architecture<\/strong>The G&P Tuset restaurant has a sophisticated image. It has opted for a eclectic design,<\/strong> combining various styles (vintage, pop, contemporary), attempting to breaking patterns and giving an eye-catching end result,<\/strong> subtle, artistic and with very personal touches.<\/p>\n

Among the materials<\/strong> The following stand out brass, marble, tiling<\/strong> in various colours, the mouldings, the made-to-measure mirrors<\/strong> with dyed frames, the lighting and textiles,<\/strong>that allow us to go back to those years full of style and colour.<\/p>\n

The colour<\/strong> is a key element of interior design, which is why determining the palette is so important. In order to define the identity of the restaurant, we chose the salmon tone for the tiling, coral which is both intense and soft and \"midnight blue\".<\/strong> of the textiles<\/strong> which gives a touch of distinction and elegance.<\/p>\n

In order to give a logical and comfortable order to the space, the room is presided over by a seven and a half metre backlit bar<\/strong> in length, finished in a curved shape. Made of LG Solid Surface HI-MACS<\/strong> (consisting of a formulation of acrylic, minerals and natural pigments <\/strong>which allows it to be mouldable, seamless, highly resistant and hygienic.<\/p>\n

The cocktail service<\/strong> is enhanced by a large against a bar more than six metres long\u00a0<\/strong>arriving up to the ceiling<\/strong> designed and manufactured custom made by Dadra Barcelona<\/strong> and with a\u00a0cup-holder suspended<\/strong> on the bar made of iron and lacquered in gold.Continuing with the curved lines, the double door<\/strong> The entrance to the restaurant was made to measure in iron<\/strong> black by 118Studio<\/p>\n

Finally, a a different and carefree bathroom<\/strong> with a ground-breaking aesthetic. It is a space that plays with the black and yellow<\/strong>and is chaired by a large owl over two metres tall<\/strong> with mirrored eyes, a familiar symbol of ownership.<\/p>\n
