Grupo Abrasador, leader in gastronomy and catering, celebrated in its II Jornada Abrasador de 2024, the awaited final of the 15th National Competition of waiters and Metres Abrasador. Congratulations to the winners for their well-deserved triumph!
This event stood out not only for the high culinary quality, but also for the innovative technology management provided by Agora, FOS Systems, Covermanager and Zerosix ensuring an enriching and highly efficient experience for all participants and attendees.
Javier Molina, master sommelier who collaborates with Abrasador, prepared as a challenge for the contestants a manual with digital tools that they had to know and use during the service of the menu created by Enrique Pérez, chef of the renowned restaurant El Doncel, awarded with a Michelin Star.
This exquisite menu not only delighted the diners, but was also the centrepiece of the competition, with each dish carefully ordered and recorded.
The management also consisted of training in the use of the POS and specialised tools and software for the Abrasador loyalty club.
FOS Systems and Ágora have provided this event with advanced POS equipment integrated with Zerosix and Covermanager, essential tools for the booking programme and the accumulation of loyalty points. This technological integration allows the contestants to learn how to manage points and reservations in an efficient way, a practice they need to know for their daily work.
The 2nd Abrasador Day celebrated culinary talent, and also provided a space for an educational and training event for hoteliers and their work teams.
