The catering chain The Mafia sits at the table defies the crisis and is committed to the expansion of new premises in Spain and Portugal. The group recovers its pre-Covid expansion planThe company expects to open a total of ten new stores this year in both countries.

The new opening in Malaga took place on Friday 26 March, and will be the 54th overall and the group's fifth restaurant in the capital, which already has another La Mafia Sits at the Table restaurant and three more outlets of its other brand La Boutique Italian Food.

The new restaurant has a total surface area of 200 square metresThe restaurant is located on Avenida del Pacífico number 5 in Malaga, the main coastal artery of the city. The restaurant will employ nine people and has a large terrace with 35 tables and capacity for a maximum of 140 diners. In addition to the on-site restaurant services, it will also offer take away, through the group's own ordering platform and delivery via aggregators.

The company plans to increase its presence in Andalusia in the coming months.. This new restaurant joins the 53 other restaurants that it already has throughout the country, in total 47 La Mafia Sits at the Table, 6 Boutique Italian Food and 2 Ditaly.
