Saona Group opens its doors in Elche. It does so, furthermore, in one of the most significant buildings for the people of Elche, the Don Julio's Housein the Corredora Street. The company is approaching the 800 employees in its team. The new Saona has a capacity for 120 diners and has a surface area of around 450 square metres, between the ground floor and the first floor, as the restaurant will have a double height.

Growth "It is both a challenge and a great opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of", says Gonzalo Calvo, founder of Grupo Saona. "Our opening in Elche could not be anywhere else. It's not just about reaching a new city, we also wanted to make our presence felt by recovering a building full of history and symbolism for the people of Elche," says Calvo.

For the design of the new restaurant, the same approach has been followed Mediterranean line that has inspired the Saona Group since its beginnings, respecting the identity and design of the building, with special features, as it has structural protection of its façade and also of its staircase, which reveals rthese of the ancient wall of Elche in a building that is more than two centuries old.

The restaurant offers a gastronomic proposal Mediterranean cuisine with a wide variety of dishes to satisfy all tastes. At the new Saona in Elche you will be able to savour news as the rice a banda in llanda with roasted garlic aioli and its famous tuna tataki pancakes on avocado and wasabi mayonnaise; the truffled cannelloni sausage, mushrooms and parmesan.
