Popeyes has chosen the town of Reus, in Tarragonato inaugurate its first restaurant in the Catalan community. With this new establishment, located in the Avinguda de Sant Bernat Calbó, nº 28 the Catalan city, the brand continues with its expansion plan for this year, thus reaching the 31 establishments throughout Spain.
Popeyes's commitment to Catalonia begins in ReusThis is the starting point for the brand's expansion throughout the community. This new opening is part of an ambitious growth plan that aims to reach 40 shops open nationwide by the end of the year. All of this, with the aim of becoming, in the next 2 years, the first choice of restaurants when it comes to consuming chicken in our country.
Ignacio Sedano, Popeyes General Manager in Spain said that "this opening means much more than just an opening for us. The new establishment will generate more than 25 jobs, will have more than 300 square metres, with a wide outdoor terrace of 130 square metresand format open kitcheThe restaurant's kitchen and the customer are separated from each other, thus eliminating the barriers between the restaurant kitchen and the customer. In addition, it is Free Standing, a model designed from the outset to reducing environmental impactThe restaurant will be equipped with energy-efficient elements. The restaurant will offer service to go, both over the counter and by car, self-ordering system, wifi and a zood entertainment for the little oness. In addition, it will soon also have a home delivery service through its own delivery platform. Thus, Popeyes® will be responsible for delivering all orders placed through the Popeyes Spain app of the various aggregators while maintaining control of the entire process from production to delivery of the product.
