The catering chain Popeyes has celebrated the opening of its first restaurant in the city of LeónThe third in the Castilian community of Castilla y León. Located in the Espacio León shopping centrein the Avenida País Leonés 12With this opening, the brand has created close to 30 new postswork in the province.

From this moment on, León joins the great Popeyes® family and welcomes us to its gastronomic offer to bring the authentic taste of Louisina food to the tables of all its inhabitants", says Ignacio Sedano, General Manager of Popeyes in Spain.
Popeyes opened its first establishment in Castilla y León in the city of Valladolid last May, less than a month ago, the second in the capital of Valladolid and today the brand is opening the doors of its first establishment in the city of León. With these three openings, Popeyes has made an investment of around 2.5 million euros and has created more than 100 new jobs in the autonomous community.
The OPENING ACT of the new Popeye's establishment has counted with the presence of the Mayor of León, Mr. José Antonio Diez. "Thanks to all those, like you, who get involved in projects for our land and who choose us because they also feel Leonese, facilitating the generation of employment in the city and strengthening a sector as important as the service sector. Thank you because you maintain a fabric that is vital and fundamental for our economy", says Mr. José Antonio Diez.
