Pizza Hut ends the year with around 70 shops. With an ambitious expansion plan in the run-up to 2022the brand will continue to carry the authentic American flavourto different strategic points in Spain with the launch of new and innovative products.
And it will do so hand in hand with Parker, on Pizza Hut ambassador who will give voice to the brand in Spain to present the latest innovations which, despite its American roots, since 2018 has been operated in Spain through the catering group Food Delivery Brands.
In this way2022 becomes a key year for Pizza Hut in the country, where in addition to strengthen its brand positioning and innovation processes, it will continue to drive its growth. To this end, it has an expansion plan that focuses on the opening of new premises in cities with a large influx of tourists, such as Madrid and Barcelona.
The brand currently has around 70 shops operating in the country, generating more than 1,400 jobs in cities such as Vitoria, Álava, Madrid, Oviedo, Valencia, Pamplona, Benidorm, Logroño, Salamanca, Santander, Bilbao, Seville, Burgos and Barcelona.
More than 40 years ago the brand launched the "Masa Pan, the first pizza on the market made with a thicker dough that tastes like bread. And in 1996 launched "La Rolling Pizza, the first pizza in history with a bordes stuffed with processed cheeseo, which revolutionised the world of pizza with an advertising campaign in which the former president of the United States himself, Donald Trump, and his now ex-wife Ivana Trump took part. A pizza that 25 years later is still one of the most sold by the American brand, but which was not at all easy to achieve, as the brand invested 3 years to find the recipe, during which 11 different versions were created, the twelfth being the definitive one, from which numerous imitations would later emerge.
