Other taxpayers: The deadline is set at 1 July. of 2026.

Software producers and marketers: You will have nine months after entry into force of the ministerial order to offer adapted products.
What is VeriFactu and what is its purpose?
VeriFactu is the secure invoicing system that ensures the transparency and reliability of accounting records by means of automated submission to the Tax Agency. The obligation to have invoicing software that complies with VeriFactu was established in the Royal Decree 1007/2023The Commission's work is part of the fight against tax fraud and the digital modernisation of businesses.
This system requires that the invoicing software used by taxpayers must generate unalterable invoicesThe use of the new system, with no possibility of deletion or modification without leaving a trace, improves the control and monitoring of commercial transactions.
